I slid the front fork tubes up an inch in the triple clamps. Now the seat is at least an inch lower and the bike is level. All suspension travel is unaffected and the bike is a joy to ride. By the way, I cut 1 1/4" out of the sidestand and had it rewelded. The shorter G310 stand unfortunately does not fit the G310GS. Don't ask how I found out! **Q: ¿para qué año de motocicleta bmw 310 gs funciona?** A: Unfortunately no. It is made to fit 2021+ models **Q: What do you do about the kickstand after you lower the motorcycle?** A: I cut 1" out and had it rewelded. Quite easy to fit it. A good solution for those who are height challenged on 310GS. On the flip side, the side stand is a bit more longer after fitting lowering link. You will have to take few millimeters off the side stand to make the bike stable when standing. Otherwise, loved this lowering link.
