It provides lots of moisture and soothes my dry skin. It does carry a photosensitivity warning though, and this is real. I had my natural 4c hair in mini braids, therefore I had exposed scalp, this summer. I went outside to play with my child and within 5 minutes my scalp was on fire! The sun on my scalp was intense! A hat solved the problem, but I started avoiding this product during the dog days of summer after that. If I have my hair in a wash and go or an afro this is not a problem.
