The platform was quick, and super easy to assemble (it comes with tools, and instructions. I had my own socket set to speed it up). Installation on the hitch was quick and easy. It’s exceptionally well-built and sturdy, which gave us peace of mind while carrying extra luggage on the back of our SUV. Assembly and installation were straightforward, though the basket is quite heavy. I managed to mount it by myself, but having an extra set of hands would have made aligning the hitch and pin easier. Once installed, it felt very secure. A key feature is the hitch stabilizer, which made a noticeable difference in reducing movement and maintaining balance during the drive. We also tested the folding function before disassembly β€” it worked smoothly, exactly as advertised. While the basket comes with two straps, I recommend using additional tie-downs or ratchet straps for extra security, especially on longer trips. I didn’t fully trust the included straps to keep everything in place for the entire drive. Overall, the design, ease of use, and durability lived up to expectations.
