Similar to glass beads that people put in clear glass vases then stick flowers in?** A: Yes, however they are so small that not much light comes through. I did try something similar. **Q: Can i used this as an inlay in a wooden bowl? would caste it in a recess with clear acrylic or thick ca glue. than machine it flush.** A: I would certainly think so. These are not polished and so may need to be sealed before placing and pouring epoxy. Machining them flush and finishing would look great! **Q: Would these be safe to include in vials of fragrance/essential oils? Would they corrode over time or leach harmful elements?** A: Genuine amber would work great in that application. This, however, is plastic. **Q: What are the size of these stones on average in mm?** A: Extremely small, Mine were 2 mm at the very most. I mixed them with other stones to bring gold into the mix ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m conflicted… *by S***M on February 17, 2024* I separated these out. I was mostly disappointed about the large amount of cracked and opaque pile on the bottom left. They are completely unusable! There were even more butterscotch amber pieces which I personally don’t like…that’s not their fault…but there seems to be an excessive amount. So between those two piles and the mostly rock pile it comes to over half of the amber that I can’t use for my project. I’m debating on getting another set so I can have more but what will I do with all of the things I can’t use. I’d even give it a lower score but it’s always a crapshoot when purchasing amber in bulk…so that’s my choice. I’m hoping someday I’ll find the beauty in the butterscotch amber but I’m still waiting. The pieces along the top I can use. They’re very beautiful. If I need more I’ll order them again. At least I know what I’ll be getting.
