The foam ones are softer on your feet, but you have to stand on suction cups, and to me it’s like many stones under your feet. To me this type is the better type of mat. This one does not slip at all, and I feel much safer knowing I won’t slip. There are a couple things I would personally like changed: for the mat to be a little thicker, and to have a hook for hanging.
