If the chamber fills up with cuttings then you can't tension the chain properly, so UNPLUG the power and open the C/S up, clear out the debris. put it back together and check the oil and retention the chain ~ less than 5 minutes !! The chains have a tough job as there aren't that many teeth to cut. When sharp it works wonders and when it starts going blunt ~ CHANGE THE CHAIN ~ it can only cut so much and still be sharp. With a set of sharp chains you can change the chain and start again in just a few minutes. Just save the chain sharpening for a rainy day job in the shed/workshop/kitchen.
