## Description

Mother, Nancy is good at quilting and can make anything from clothes and small items to big items such as curtains. She works as a pharmacist and knows all about herbs and healthy eating. Father, Billy has moved to the Calico Village to take up the job of mail carrier. He makes sure everyone’s mail is always delivered on time because he knows how much all the villagers look forward to their letters and parcels. Sister, Mandy loves writing letters. She sends hand-made birthday cards to family and school friends every year. Everyone looks forward to receiving her letters because they are always filled with kind words. Baby Sister, Jenny loves to sing while swinging on the swings. She likes it when her mother pushes her. When she plays on the swings at the nursery, she gets a little upset when she has to let someone else take a turn.

Review: Lovely cute toys - So cute. My niece loved them
Review: Very cute and nice - I saw these bears as a teenager on tumbler and I was hoping for them for over a decade. I finally got to add them to my collection and they are a delight to look at and touch. They are very cute and homey and are super soft to touch. They are very good decor but I am sure kids would love them as toys also. Sometimes I take one of them with me so that I can touch them though because the texture is so comforting and they’ve held up well.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I noticed that the Hedgehogs have thumbs separate from the rest of the fingers. Can they hold objects intended for the duplo or playmobil people?**
A: I just took a look for you at my Pickleweed Hedgehogs and I gathered a few random Playmobil items- Yes! The hedgehogs can even fit perfectly on the backs of the Playmobil horses, can hold most sized guns, and a sack of gold that came with a Western Bank Set from Playmobil. They work perfectly with Playmobil houses- even better than the Calico Critter houses. They can fit through Playmobil sized doors, and are approx the same height. They can sit in most, but not all, Playmobil chairs. If you have any more questions or questions about specific Playmobil furniture and If they work with the hedgehogs- please let me know and I will respond back within a day. Happy to help you out :-)

**Q: Are these critters soft or hard with fuzzy coating, particularly the heads and ears ...**
A: They are the hard with fuzzy coating type.

**Q: Are all of the products a choking hazard? I’d like to start my 12 month old niece on the collection.**
A: Hi there. I don't think these are appropriate for a 12 month old. The clothes all come off and the critters, themselves, are made of fuzzy material. Not great for a baby to put in their mouth. Hope that helps. I buy these for my 5 year old and 8 year old nieces.

**Q: How tall are the individual critters?**
A: The babies are about 2 inches. The bigger ones are about 3 inches. Adorable and loved by boy and girl children ( and adults)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cute!

I purchased this for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves them...they are a favorite! She uses them in her doll house as well as outside, using natural props with them to play. "Hedgehogs like grass!" The little hedgehogs are so cute and sweet! They are a bit expensive, but well worth the money.
