Works great for my daughter's school lunch. Her food is packed by 5am and lunchtime is at 11:30 am To ensure food is kept warm until lunchtime I add boiling water to the bowl, cover and allow to sit for 1 hour. I will empty the water , dry the bowl , place the hot food inside and cover right.away. I will release the steam before placing in the littlecase, then place both in a proper insulated lunchbag. I also add a pyrex hotpack to the main lunchbag so the food has warmt throughout the bag.
