Review: Love these!!! - Awesome product. I have several of them in different colors. Great using when I make sourdough bread, bagels, etc. Also good to get jelly out of a jar. One end is a spreader and the other can clean out the bottom of a jar. In sourdough you can stir up your starter, scraped down the bowl, remove all the starter from the container. Review: My desert-island kitchen tool, and my favorite homemade fudge-making tool - I wanted to make sure this scooper/stirrer/scraper wouldn't fail me after many uses, so I waited until I had owned and beat up on it it for about a year before writing this review. After a year of using it for everything from getting the last of the peanut butter or honey out of the jar, to spreading frosting, to making scrambled eggs, to being the one and only tool I need to make homemade chocolate fudge, it looks and feels just like new. It's better than a butter knife for scraping the last bits of anything gooey out of cans or jars because it has more surface area, has a slight amount of give to deal with irregularly shaped cans or jars, and is much easier to scrape off and clean than a metal knife. It's also more comfortable to hold in my hand vertically - knives are basically made to be held horizontally while this is great as a stirrer - or in any other application where you are holding it more or less straight up and down. In fact, when I make homemade fudge I use it to get all the sweetened condensed milk out of the can, then I use it to stir the fudge while it is cooking, and then to get the fudge out of the pot and lay it out to cool. So much more efficient than multiple spoons and knives! It cleans up easily even from very sticky things - just dish soap and warm water. I haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher because by the time I rinse it off, it is so clean it seems pointless to do anything more than let it air dry before I use it again. Medium high stove heat doesn't seem to bother this tool at all, and because of its shape and (slight) "give"/flexibility it does a much better job than spoons as a stirrer for keeping things from getting stuck to/burnt on the bottom of pots. It feels like I can really get at the bottom of a potful of anything thick (like fudge) and avoid the hotspots I seemed to get when I used spoons for this purpose. The purple color is an added bonus - a fun way to brighten up all kinds of kitchen chores. If I could only have one tool for all kinds of food preparation, this would be it.

Awesome product. I have several of them in different colors. Great using when I make sourdough bread, bagels, etc. Also good to get jelly out of a jar. One end is a spreader and the other can clean out the bottom of a jar. In sourdough you can stir up your starter, scraped down the bowl, remove all the starter from the container. Won’t be without them!!!

I wanted to make sure this scooper/stirrer/scraper wouldn't fail me after many uses, so I waited until I had owned and beat up on it it for about a year before writing this review. After a year of using it for everything from getting the last of the peanut butter or honey out of the jar, to spreading frosting, to making scrambled eggs, to being the one and only tool I need to make homemade chocolate fudge, it looks and feels just like new. It's better than a butter knife for scraping the last bits of anything gooey out of cans or jars because it has more surface area, has a slight amount of give to deal with irregularly shaped cans or jars, and is much easier to scrape off and clean than a metal knife. It's also more comfortable to hold in my hand vertically - knives are basically made to be held horizontally while this is great as a stirrer - or in any other application where you are holding it more or less straight up and down. In fact, when I make homemade fudge I use it to get all the sweetened condensed milk out of the can, then I use it to stir the fudge while it is cooking, and then to get the fudge out of the pot and lay it out to cool. So much more efficient than multiple spoons and knives! It cleans up easily even from very sticky things - just dish soap and warm water. I haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher because by the time I rinse it off, it is so clean it seems pointless to do anything more than let it air dry before I use it again. I love this Large Tovolo tool! I use it often to stir and scrape my Sourdough starter. I love that it has a spoon/scooper on the one end that I can spoon a little starter into the jar to make my levain. It has lasted almost a year now and I wash it in the dishwasher and handwash. The color is a perfect, subtle light green. Very pretty and soothing IYKYK I liked it so much that I purchased one for a bridal shower gift. Love how versatile it is - you can use it for so many different things in cooking.
