I bought 24 and at Michaels bought 24 white tea lights (with a 40% coupon :) The tea lights at Michaels are either white, silver, or gold. Michael's didn't have any jewel tone vintage votives, they had other types of votives, not as nice and about 2.99 per votive. The colors are pastel-ish, perfect for a bridal shower, anniversary, or birthday. If you put them on a square mirror it will accentuate the light streaming from the glass. They are durable but are glass, so may break if you drop them on a hard surface. They aren't heavy, and are stable as a centerpiece on a table.
