Review: Tone - While adding a more driven tone in the pre-amp stage they're not as bright as a JJ 12ax7. Mixed with JJ tubes seems to give for me a very balanced sound.

These should come in a small cardboard box. Luckily they arrived unbroken. Amazon shipped them in the original thin boxes they come in, inside a padded mailer. These are glass and could have easily smashed. One of the boxes was slightly crunched but it was on the end away from the tube, otherwise it would have been broken. I haven't put them in yet but if they don't work, we know why.
