I was not expecting these candle holders to be as heavy or of such quality when I ordered them. You assemble the candle holders when they arrive, simple as could be - three parts: the base, the stem, and the candle holder! It took me a total of three minutes to put six together. I went with the black color because I’m trying out the “moody” look for our dining room. I’m happy that I did because they are great against the bronze and gold accents in the room and I love that they are different heights too.
