We bought this based upon all the favourable reviews as a spare to replace our existing unit from another supplier. The TempPro unit is good, but doesn't respond nearly as quickly as our existing unit. Something to bear in mind if you are checking the temperature throughout a large piece of meat or multiple steaks.
