Cheap hard plastic tires have no give on terrain. Cross bars are almost completely flat so if you have any kind of keel or shape to the bottom of your kayak it will not ride properly. Heavy duty my ass. Deluxe, Definitely not. Have 5 kayaks doesnt fit any of them. Slips slides doesn't track . Most of the reservoirs I fish from require moving the kayak some distance, and this setup is great over smooth and rough terrain. One of the changes I made was to replace the pins that were sent with "D" style clips. These make a huge difference, since the ones sent with the purchase aren't held in securely at all. Highly recommend that upgrade. I also used two larger bungee straps instead of the black strap that was included with my purchase. The straps and pins have improved this product.
