I will be extremely cautious as I get adjusted to the new grip, as it would be easy to burn myself using this new tool. I am sure it will not be an issue once I get adjusted to it. I have a shoulder length hair and the 1 inch plates were easy to use. So far, the quality seems excellent. If this changes, I will update my review. I would highly recommend! I was skeptical about it having only one heat setting but realized I had always used the same setting on my old flat iron. The heat setting has been fine for me and I really like the size as well.
