They are cheap generic Chinese made pencils-the exact same pencils are sold under a bunch of different names. They are not bad for adults who want to use them in coloring books but they do not compare with Prismacolors. I just spray my pages to make them lightfast since my pencils (higher quality than this brand) are not lightfast either. If you had ever used Prismacolor Premiers, you would not mistake the two.
