It gets small enough that it fits in my pocket. I do wish it was less flimsy though. I think they could have made the spiral bands a little more sturdy. The bottle of the water bottle falls downward when you raise it up to your lips to drink. Also smaller when it full size than I thought it would be. Over all it was what I wanted and works fine but I don’t think it was worth the $20ish price tag at all. Great for travel. I wish there was a way to make it sturdier but I guess that's the trade-off for it being collapsible. But overall great for trips and airports.
