## Description

The Jimmi Jammer is a steel plate that mounts inside your vehicle's door to prevent thieves from prying around the handle to reach the locking bars. The Jimmi Jammer also helps prevent the lock from being bumped into the door with a screwdriver. Installation is similar to changing the door handle, but once installed, you gain protection against burglaries breaking into your vehicle. This kit is for 1999-2016 Super Duty F250 F350 F450 and all Touring models that have a lock cylinder in each front door handle. I’m not sure if it will help, but it will definitely slow them down enough to get them on my video, and or alarm to go off. My drivers side took a little bit longer to install just for the simple fact that I had to replace my door handle also. But the passenger side literally took me maybe 5 minutes to install. Very sturdy materials, and detailed instruction. I didn’t look at the instructions and just figured it out. The instructions were almost too confusing.

After having my Super Duty door locks punched a second time I decided to add these to the Club and Alarm just to be sure. Since I installed these I haven't had anyone else try to get in and hopefully I never do. It is a very simple metal plate and installed fairly easily. The difficulty was mainly with the location more than the product. If you have a Super Duty the bad guys really like them too apparently so add this. I actually have it on video from Mall security. A truck pulled up to mine on the passenger side. The passenger gets out and punched my door lock. Fortunately the alarm went off and they scampered away. Protecting your truck is all about layers of protection and yes if they want it they'll get it. But, because of my club and alarm I've kept it longer than others and this should help too.
