Empowering. *by C***! on April 16, 2024* Savers gonna save and that's who I am and have been. But here I am mid 50's and no idea if I have saved enough. Wasn't I supposed to do some traveling by now? How do you know when you've saved enough and whether it's okay to start spending a bit more? I'm about half way through this journal and it's been eye opening and really empowering. Once you assign some guilt free spending, you don't have to fret if you go out to dinner and order the onion rings. Who knew? It's not about numbers or budgets (which I LOVE) but more about mindset and reassuring yourself that you are on the right track. Maybe exploring some little tweaks. I currently budget with YNAB and already read Ramit's other book, so this was a great self-paced way to really explore where I am now and where I want to go. Highly recommend!
