Perfect for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to learn on. It does work okay on grass, but obviously does better on pavement. Great first bike. She quickly got the hang of riding and pedaling it if the road was flat or curved slightly downhill. She needed some help if there was any incline but with more use she’s getting better and better with coordination of steering and pedaling and strengthening her legs to keep herself going.
