Dish sponges have two layers – the black scouring layer and the special foam layer "Sea Foam". It provides more cleanser’s foam and better removes dirt from the surface. And the scouring layer of fiber has a brand special influence on the dirty surfaces in the kitchen cleaning. With Black Okleen Kitchen Sponges you can use less detergent and get more foam for cleaning surfaces. Saving money and quality improvement of washing are possible in that way. I've purchased other brand before that came in a pack of 20, claimed to be "heavy duty" and had nice white/grey color and were $14.99. Well, that "heavy duty" sponge was falling apart after 4 day normal/medium use. With that said, these sponges have high ratings for a reason, because they are truly great.

Don't be discouraged by the price of these! Yes, they are pricier than others, BUT THEY LAST! Excellent quality, great selection of colors, performs very well and does what it's designed for. I've purchased other brand before that came in a pack of 20, claimed to be "heavy duty" and had nice white/grey color and were $14.99. Well, that "heavy duty" sponge was falling apart after 4 day normal/medium use. With that said, these sponges have high ratings for a reason, because they are truly great.
