Product Description The traditional ‘open snout’ gives just the right amount of access to grab a pinch of salt whilst also preventing it from clumping as it doesn’t allow too much ‘kitchen air’ to get into it. With a 0.3 litre capacity this salt pig is ideal for a regular 250g pack of sea salt, and has an easy grip knob on top. Easy clean, enamelled, scratch resistant surface which is dishwasher safe. Totally hygienic, will not absorb odours or flavours and won’t stain. Le Creuset Stoneware Facts: Practical and versatile Le Creuset stoneware is designed to go from the freezer to the oven and to the table in style. Manufactured using the highest quality material and techniques, Le Creuset stoneware offers much greater resistance to extreme temperature changes. The tough craze-free glass is totally hygienic – it will not absorb food or flavours and is stain and scratch resistant and has an easy clean finish. Hygienic: The smooth enamelled surface is scratch resistant and makes for fast, easy cleaning. The totally hygienic cooking surface will not absorb odours or flavours. Perfect for storing foods (raw or cooked) in the refrigerator or freezer. Will clean easily by hand or by dishwasher if used in accordance with our care and use. Adaptability and versatility: Baking, roasting, storage, or preparation, Le Creuset has a Stoneware dish to do the job. Easy to hold, sure grip handles, knobs and rims. Le Creuset is available in a wide range of colours that match our cast iron range and are equally at home in the kitchen or on your dining table. Stoneware Care and Use: Do not use any piece on cooker hobs or any other direct heat source. When in the oven a maximum oven temperature of 260 degrees Celsius or 500 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend using Le Creuset oven mitts for lifting hot dishes at all times. When using under a grill allow a gap between the rim of the dish and the heat source of no less than 6 ½ cm / 2 ½ inches. When using in a microwave handles may become hot during prolonged microwave use and especially if the handles are enclosed with cling film. Cover just the open top of the dish leaving the handles exposed. When using from the freezer to oven do not place a frozen dish of food in a pre-heated oven. Place the frozen dish in a cold oven and set the temperature, allowing the dish and oven to heat together. Before serving always check that the centre of the food is completely and uniformly hot. Cleaning: Before use wash the dish in hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. For most day-to-day cleaning, cool the dish for a few minutes then wash and dry as above, or wash in the dishwasher, allowing the full cycle to complete. Never leave a dish fully immersed in water. For removal of stubborn residues allow the dish to cool, fill with warm soapy water and allow it to soak for 10 – 20 minutes. Wash in the usual way using, if necessary, a plastic brush or scouring pad. Le Creuset Guarantee: Le Creuset is proud of the workmanship in its products and guarantees its Stoneware cookware, from the date of purchase, for 5 years. The 5-year guarantee covers faulty workmanship and materials when the product is used in normal domestic household conditions, and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. Review: Lovely :) - My little pig arrived today and i'm very pleased with it. I have been looking for a pig for some time but have read a lot of reviews about them either being too big / small - very Goldilocks and the 3 bears. I'm pleased to say these little fella's are just perfect, i can get my hand in there to pick the salt but it's covered enough not to be full of dust and dirt. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend.

My little pig arrived today and i'm very pleased with it. I have been looking for a pig for some time but have read a lot of reviews about them either being too big / small - very Goldilocks and the 3 bears. I'm pleased to say these little fella's are just perfect, i can get my hand in there to pick the salt but it's covered enough not to be full of dust and dirt. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend.
