Review: Super cute& fun, WATCH FOR MOLD - My grand LOVES this thing. At 3=5, she really handles the function and grabs all kinds of toys in the tub. She lost interest in the fish a couple weeks in. Months in, it still works as designed. Paint has worn off part of the eyes. I cracked open the mouth and looked inside today. HOLY CRAP! it's scary gross. I know many toys do this when water sits inside, but I didn't think it would be a problem in this shark bc it's more open than other toys. Now-we do have a hard water x soap scum issue. All her toys get soap scum after a few days in the tub. Bleach soak is needed regularly. Note, it looks fine from the outside. Check yours.

**Q: Do the little fish float?**
A: Yeap, This shark bath toy little fish can float on the water

**Q: Does the shatks mouth close? It was just delivered and the mouth only opens.**
A: This toy operates in the same way as a litter picker tool.  When you depress the bar beneath the hand-grip, the mouth opens but when you release the bar, the mouth should close by itself on the little fish or whatever else the shark has grabbed in its jaws.  My problem with this toy was that there must be a spring or some other piece of metal inside and it caused rusty water to drain out of the toy and onto a towel/ bath/ floor.  There was no way to fully drain out the water.  It was a successful toy, though, and my grandson loved playing with it.

My 3/o loves this and looks forward to bath time every night. Was well worth the purchase and I have recommended it to other moms I know as well. I originally rated it 5 stars but the shark stopped working with the handle out of no where which is a bummer.
