It can break and may not pick up the detail you likely want. Also takes a long time to cure if too thick and is likely to distort. Great for sculpting but can dry unevenly causing distortion. There are far better things to use for molds. **Q: What is the consistency like? Is this softer to work with than modeling or polymer clay?** A: Yes, this is much softer than normal clay. **Q: What kind of dye is best to knead into with the white for colors?** A: Any sort of pigment powder would help. But your better off just making what you want. Then painting after. It would be easier and would add more detail to it **Q: For the black and white clay package, do I get 2/300g containers or 2/1500g containers?
