Overall, I’ve had a good experience with this MANSPOT trimmer. The biggest positive for me is how safe and comfortable it feels when trimming around the groin and other intimate areas. That is obviously one of the main reasons someone would buy a trimmer like this, and compared with some other electric clippers I’ve used, I feel much more confident using this one in areas where you definitely do not want the blade grabbing or cutting your skin. It trims well and is easy to maneuver. I still take my time and keep the skin properly positioned when trimming sensitive areas, but I haven’t had the kind of painful grabbing or cutting experience that can happen with some body trimmers. For me, that makes this one much more useful than simply having a powerful blade. The one area I think could be improved is the battery. I seem to have to charge it fairly often, and the battery doesn’t feel like it lasts as long as I would expect from a rechargeable trimmer. It hasn’t stopped me from using it, but I do find myself checking the charge before grooming because I don’t completely trust it to be ready every time. So far, the actual shaving and trimming performance has been very good. If you’re mainly looking for a trimmer for body and groin grooming and safety around sensitive skin is one of your biggest concerns, this has worked well for me. The battery life keeps me from giving it a perfect rating, but for comfort, maneuverability, and trimming sensitive areas, I think it does its job very well.
