The line is very fine and the ink flows smoothly; it is a joy to write with and I am TOTALLY satisfied with the writing performance. I tested it by writing, letting it dry for a day, then scrubbing the paper lightly under water; it did not bleed or run, like G2s will (with some colors of G2s the ink totally disappears with this test!). However, I am taking one star off for an unexpected reason - even after 24 hours, a Sharpie yellow highlighter will cause the ink to smear slightly, giving a shadowed effect. This is not a problem I have encountered with any other ink, and I do not know if other brands of highlighter would have the same reaction. I take a lot of notes and then highlight key words when reviewing, so this is bothersome.
