The original wood-based wire snap trap, the Victor metal pedal Mouse trap provides Instant rodent control & is safe for household use. Trusted to control mice for over 100 years, this trap allows for clean & quick trapping - ideal for maximum rodent control. Once a rodent triggers the metal petal, the trap immediately springs closed to eliminate the pest on contact. It can then be easily disposed of for quick & clean removal.

Review: Work well. Mousies don't like 'em. - These are the old stand-by since forever. They work well and are easy to adjust sensitivity. I do wish they'd crimp over the staples that hold the spring bar ends, on the underside of the trap, as when used in damp conditions the staples can tend to come loose. Think I'll try sealing the bottom of the traps that are used where they might get wet.

But my need this time was to control outdoor mice around pine trees and in a natural turf area. My son recommended putting a nail in the middle to allow them to be placed near the hole entrances. I drilled a hole in the middle and glued a spike nail in the middle. This allowed me to place them near the hole home openings and keep them in place- very effective. Like these traps.
