Powerfully effective, blessedly unscented, convenient application, and a price that can't be beat. I'll never stray again. Keep in mind this stuff is VERY STRONG. You MUST use it exactly as directed to avoid skin irritation: apply to bone-dry skin (dry the area with a hair dryer if needed), at bedtime. Not too much or it'll sting— more is not better. I tip the bottle to wet the roller ball, tilt it back upright, apply ONE long swipe, then use my fingers to spread the product over the whole armpit area. Repeat for the other side. Let it dry, then go to bed. You'll be TOTALLY sweat-free for 2 to 3 days at least (I've gone as many as 5!). Yes it lasts through showers, as long as you don't scrub the area too aggressively. Works just as well on feet, palms, and forehead. One thing to note though: if you don't sweat from one place (armpits, feet), you may find you sweat more from other places. That's how well this works. But I have to repeat: YOU MUST USE AS DIRECTED. This is not like regular antiperspirant that you apply every morning. Do NOT apply it right after you shower. Review: Life changing - I started having excessive armpit sweat when I was in 7th grade (I’m in college now). It was such a hassle for me, because I never got to wear blouses and cute shirts without it having to black or a certain material that won’t show the sweat stains. I was really insecure for years and have been limited to what I wear. I tried different deodorants but I kid y’all not, this deodorant changed my life. First time I tried it, I applied it at night and slept. I didn’t expect much because of how many deodorants failed me already lol. The next day, I went to work and I was shocked. It was during winter, and I would usually sweat crazy already in the morning at work. But that morning after I put on certain dri, I didn’t feel that very uncomfortable sweat literally dripping down from my armpit. I didn’t sweat until night time. I figured that I should apply it every night, so I did The effect gradually lasted longer, so I applied every 2 nights. Eventually, 3 nights. Been using it for 5 months now, and I can go on literally 6 days without applying it and I wouldn’t sweat NOR smell. Today’s Wednesday, and the last time I applied it was last week Thursday. I haven’t sweat even just a bit, not even after I went golfing with my friends and go karting for the whole day under the sun and it was really hot too. NO SWEAT. **Q: Can you apply a good smelling deodorant over this product if you wanted a good smell over this antiperspirant?**
A: Yes! I just want to make sure you do know that this deodorant is for night time use. Put it on at night, before you go to bed & preferably (not necessary) after you have showered or bathed at night time. That way, you are clean when you apply it. They do have a daytime version, but the daytime version is really just as a refresher & does not accomplish anything with regards to helping you to stop perspiring. If you apply this at night time, then you can apply whatever you want in the morning. I use my regular girly smelling deo in the morning. They work great together.

**Q: does it work for sweaty hands?**
A: One person mentioned Drysol being effective for sweaty palms. For reference, Drysol contains 20% of aluminum chloride (and is only available by prescription in the US), while Certain Dri contains 12%. The maximum allowable strength of aluminum chloride in an antiperspirant in the US is 15%; anything above requires prescription.

**Q: I take showers in the morning, so would I apply this at night still? And its completely fine to scrub my armpits in the shower?**
A: I shower in the morning and apply both roll on certain dry and after letting it dry use a fragrance of dry spray like dove. I also use at night. (Only on a clean pit) I have a severe perspiration problem and this is the only deodorant that works for me.

**Q: Does this stain clothing?**
A: It doesn't stain my clothing.  I apply at night as directed, and then I take a shower in the morning, which would wash off any residue from the product, so clothes don't get stained.  However, it worked its magic at night, so I don't sweat or have body odor issues after the shower.  I use this about every other day, and I don't use any other product to control sweat or odor.

So, I first read the negative reviews…felt the need to write about my very, very positive experience. This may make a difference…you decide: I’m 76.5 yrs old and have teensy hairs under my arms…hardly any to really speak of, so I don’t really have to shave but once in a blue moon. I have had so many years of not feeling that any deodorant was effective enough for me. Found this, I believe, mentioned by a derm. Bought it and when I bought it, I did have enough underarm hair to shave. It burned a bit, but felt sticky and itchy a lot. Oh my WORD the effectiveness, though. Days and days with no b.o. , nor wetness. A first in my life. Net, net…continued to use only once every 7-10 days with delight. Never shaved and applied in the same night, or perhaps within 3 hrs. Time passed and the need for shaving dissipated. It’s a wonder product for me. I’m delighted. Follow the directions exactly. If that doesn’t work for you, then try to adjust it to your needs and what works for you. Trust me on this.
