Found a way to put all my items in the bag but not really that much room for a notebook, textbooks, or water bottle after that. I do however carry quite a few gadgets with me on a daily basis (batteries, chargers, camera, laser presenter), but it doesn't seem like more than most people would carry. I am happy with the quality of the bag, though I can see the materials being better. The zippers don't zip as smoothly as I would like, and get stuck near the bottom of the clamshell. The straps are very comfortable, and the velcro is great to hold the extra slack, but the buckle itself loosens easy...which is a little annoying. The weight reduction claim that they have seems to apply, at least in my subjective opinion. Not bad overall, using this as my everyday carry bag, and I would recommend this to those that ride on subways/metros a lot.
