The camera pans up to 360 degrees side-to side, tilts up to 80 degrees up and down, and zooms up to 10 times with mobile app or 4 times from the viewer. Review: Great Features - I brought this to use for my mom especially at night. The quality of the camera is good, it was easy to set up and I really like the features. I can see what’s going on even when I’m not at home as there is an app that allows you to speak into the camera as well as adjust the angles of the cameras. The battery life for the monitor did not last long but if you leave it plugged in your good to go.
Review: DO NOT BUY - DO NOT BUY. This does not work well and came with a lot of issues. especially when you need it most. I purchased this in October 2024 to replace my old vtech single camera since baby #2 was due Soon. I set it up in December for my toddler. Set up was easy but by March 2025. Only 3 months of use you already had a host of issues before my second baby was born!!!!! Poor connectivity. Very soft sound even at the highest sensitivity and volume compare to the previous vtech camera I had. The night mode is glitching so it toggles between night mode and day mode make a lot of clicking noises keeping me and my toddler awake as can be heard from the camera itself. I have to turn off night mode for it to be quiet however I cannot see my child. I tried unplugging the camera but a few weeks later the issue returns. Now we are in May and the charger has completely stopped working/charging the monitor screen. Not to mention the battery life is very short when not plugged in. I have to use another charger to use it but it is not holding the charge as before. Now the icing on the cake is the antenna broken. All this after only 4 months of use!!!!!!! It’s driving me crazy. DO NOT BUY. POOR PRODUCT. My first tech single camera was much better and clearer where I can see baby breathing. This one is far less superior and has too many issues. If I was living in the US I would have retur ed this lonnggg time ago. After baby was born set up second camera. More connection issues and short battery life. I repeat. Do not buy. I will be trying another brand next purchase.

**Q: I see connectivity issues being a common theme.  I’ve experienced the same issues where my monitor has intermittent connection.  Is this normal?**

To ensure that your HD video monitor is always at its best performance, the parent unit will prompt a message and ask you to update its software and the baby unit's firmware when there are new versions available. **Q: What is the expected range/distance for this baby monitor? Obviously it will vary depending on environmental factors, but if there are no blockages?**
A: The range is not that good to be honest. You have to constantly put up the antenna for better signal. Wifi option is the best for range but connection to cameras take awhile to sync everytime you turn off the monitor. Battery life is not good either.

**Q: The “Link” light has started blinking continuously but is still connected to 1 of the 2 cameras (the other has never been used). Any idea how to stop?**
A: Ben - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech RM5764-2HD. You may need to reset the baby monitor by powering off both the parent and baby units.
