Designed to securely block doorways, stairways, and other spaces, the Supergate Ergo can be used as a convenient pressure mount gate which requires no measuring or tools. Simply expand the gate in the opening and lock the handle. Well-suited to blocking doorways, the gate includes door sockets that provide extra holding power for pressure mounting in openings between 26 and 42 inches wide. This gate can also be used as a swing gate or a gate for the top of a stairway, all of the necessary hardware is included, simply following the instructions. Proudly made in the USA.

Review: Damaged - The item was defective. Part of the gate would not lock in place because it was loose. I think it probably got damaged due to shipping. The product of itself is good and I would prefer a replacement. But it is a huge hassle because I will have to return the item myself.

**Q: Can you stack two gates on top of each other in a doorway?**
A: you should NEVER stack gates if this is for children. My cousin's son passed away in a tragic accident after getting stuck between stacked gates. It is very dangerous.

**Q: Does this gate have hinge hardware for swinging open**
A: Yes, this is included.

**Q: Will this work if stairway is glass?**
A: There are rubber stops where its pressure mounted against wall or in this case glass so it should work for it and wont slide.

**Q: can it be used outdoors?**
A: I would think so. I use it my puppy and wash it every other day and air dry on my patio. I would be comfortable using it outdoors.

This plastic baby gate is very sturdy and feels well made. It does a great job we used this for a kitten transition not for actual babies. Installation was straightforward, and the quality is impressive and for the price. The only downside is that it requires quite a bit of force to open and close, which can be a little inconvenient at times. Overall, it’s a good, reliable baby gate that I would still recommend. Very solid/sturdy its a good height and fit within our standard door frame with no issues as it expands!
