A: Yes, two adults can sit comfortably on this for a meal. My adult son and his wife can sit on the bench and eat a meal, with no problem.

**Q: Is assembly required?  How easy/difficult?**
A: Yes you have to put together. Extremely easy!! It took longer to take it out of the box than to put together.
