Review: Great little 5G mobile router - I bought this to replace an HTC 5G Hub, which I paid a lot for but had endless trouble with (not sure if I had a faulty unit or what, but it kept dropping my connection and had to be rebooted multiple times a day). This ZTE unit has performed pretty flawlessly right out of the box and has revolutionised my internet. Previously (before the HTC), I typically got 20-40Mbps through a landline broadband connection (the best available in my area), dropping to maybe 5Mbps when demand was high. With the HTC, over 5G, I typically got 60-80Mbps, but as I say the connection was VERY erratic, making it almost unusable in a business environment. Now I typically get between 80-120Mbps over 5G, rarely drop below 20Mbps and quite often get up to almost 200Mbps. And the connection has only dropped twice in 6 weeks, both times because the battery ran out (I have it permanently plugged in to the mains but run a timer to cut the power for a few hours each night to work and hopefully maintain the battery). All in all, I think this is a brilliant device! An additional plus is that you can log into the control panel over the internet as you would any other standard router (but not the HTC), and control lots of settings. My only word of caution is be careful to buy the right version if you need an ethernet port: I do, as I have it plugged into a mesh network, but the original device I received from an desertcart Marketplace seller didn't have one, though I was able to source one which did from an alternative supplier on desertcart.

**Q: How do I get into the settings interface page?  I can't get past the log in page.**
A: You need to log in , follow the instructions admin is the password

**Q: Does the zte mu5001 have an ethernet connector? some recent reviews have mentioned that it does not and want to confirm**
A: Yes, it has an Ethernet connector. It is at the front, on the same edge that has the USB socket for the power supply.

**Q: Does anyone know what antenna would fit this zte mu5001? i got a pair but they had a screw on bit which obviously is too big for this device**
A: Ignore Mr Coopers answer, clearly he’s on crack. There are 2 TS9 connections

**Q: There are two TS9 connectors.  Are they both for celular or is one for wifi?**
A: I've never actually used them, but from the documentation it appears that both are for the cellular signal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little 5G mobile router

I bought this to replace an HTC 5G Hub, which I paid a lot for but had endless trouble with (not sure if I had a faulty unit or what, but it kept dropping my connection and had to be rebooted multiple times a day). This ZTE unit has performed pretty flawlessly right out of the box and has revolutionised my internet. Previously (before the HTC), I typically got 20-40Mbps through a landline broadband connection (the best available in my area), dropping to maybe 5Mbps when demand was high. With the HTC, over 5G, I typically got 60-80Mbps, but as I say the connection was VERY erratic, making it almost unusable in a business environment. Now I typically get between 80-120Mbps over 5G, rarely drop below 20Mbps and quite often get up to almost 200Mbps. And the connection has only dropped twice in 6 weeks, both times because the battery ran out (I have it permanently plugged in to the mains but run a timer to cut the power for a few hours each night to work and hopefully maintain the battery). Doesn't appear to include the Ethernet port as pictured in the product description. This was the primary reason I purchased this device and not others. Very disappointed.
