I make plastic kits and found these sticks perfect for the job. They are quite wide so I cut some in half to get into smaller places. They are lasting quite well against plastic items at least. I've used them on brass and copper and although they will wear quicker against these metals they do a good job in polishing these items prior to a dedicated metal polish.
