No additional hardware is needed. The two small bolts with thread-locker already applied attaches the fork to the stanchion cross-member, and uses the fork vent port closure bolt itself to attach the fender to the fork bodies. Fender is sturdy and very secure. Looks good and performs well. Review: Great protection, even on a bike without proper mounts - I ride a Specialized Turbo Levo, and the front fork isn’t designed with mounting points for traditional mudguards. Still, I was desperate for a mudguard because mud and debris were constantly flying into my face, especially after riding in wet conditions. I took a chance on this mudguard, and I’m glad I did! Even though my fork wasn’t technically compatible, I was able to securely attach the mudguard using zip ties. It stayed in place through some pretty rough trails and does an excellent job keeping dirt, water, and debris off my face and chest. Took less than 5 minutes.
