**Q: What size clamp would I need to anchor a .400" OD coax cable?**
A: That is what I used this one for. The opening was tough to get over the line, eased by spreading it just a touch using pliers, but it clamps down tight and holds well on our coax as well as a second of this size on the old phone/DSL line to the house.

**Q: what size needed for 12-2 outdoor wire?**
A: I used these for CATV cable, 12/2 and 12/3 wire. I also used these 6-2 clamps for rubber coated braided cable. The wire I used is direct burial for overhead. Works very well.
