It accepts items that more expensive scanners will not accept. I was able to place every type of picture; card and document into it without any problem. It is also very easy to clean. I like the way adjustments can be made to pictures. (Color for example) Some pictures that had darkened over the years, were brighten so nicely, they looked as though a light had been turned on. My only regret is that I had wasted so much money on a scanner that sells for hundreds more. I wish I had found this scanner sooner!
