Review: This is an addition to my Ryobi collection, tried and tested it and works extremely well Review: This is a little brother to the Ryobi string trimmers and the Ryobi hedge trimmers. It is smaller and lighter, making it perfect for detailed trimming or small fall cleanup jobs. I used it to take down about 50 good size hostas for the winter. It worked just as I hoped, cutting the stalks quickly, easily and cleanly. And it's perfect for trimming the tall grass left around fence posts and walls after mowing. While the string trimmer also worked for that, the line tended to tear off the paint at the bottom of the posts. This smaller clipper doesn't do that. The change from the shorter clipper to a small hedge clipper is very easy, and needs no tools. I found the hole each head has, to fit to the motor/handle was a little tight. Chasing the hole in the heads with the proper drill solved that easily. A single fully charged battery lasted as long as I wanted to use it, and the fact that it is part of the Ryobi line means that there are always lots of batteries available.
