FOR $250, THEY WOULD DO IT. SINCE I JUST SPENT A FORTUNE ON A TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT 8k, I WAS LOOKING TO SAVE A FEW DOLLARS. ORDERED THESE STRUTS FOR $21. USING A VERY SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER, I PRYED AND REMOVED THE HOLDING CLIPS AND EASILY REMOVED THE STRUT. THE NEW STRUT EASILY JUST SNAPPED INTO PLACE. LESS THAN 5 MINUTES PER STRUT. THERE ARE YOUTUBE VIDEOS OUT THERE FOR DOING THIS. THE NEW STRUTS WORK FANTASTIC. I POP THE HOOD AND RAISE IT ABOUT A FOOT UP AND THE STRUTS TAKE IT FROM THERE AND FULLY OPEN THE HOOD!
