As a bonus the curling iron comes with a silicone heat protective mat (with a pocket) that allows you to use the curling iron on any surface or you can slide the iron in the silicone pocket while it is cooling down to allow you to pack it right away in your bag while travelling. I have burnt myself pretty badly 3 times and so won't be using this again.
