It is short so make sure that the over all length will work for you. **Q: Does the mounted end articulate so I could take my panel down and fold this back to the wall out of the way? Looking at an alternative use for this** A: I don't understand or cannot imagine what's your problem. Anyway, I did not have any problem for installation, every connection is adjustable. **Q: Can you hang a shower curtain on this?** A: I wouldn’t recommend hanging a shower curtain on it. It does a great job stabilizing my glass panel which is 5’ long, but since the anchors are so close together I feel it would loosen from the wall from the continuous tugging to open and close the curtain.
