Review: Great for snack packs - These are great to make your own snack packs. They are not leak proof and do not claim to be. So far I haven’t had any problems with them and have been using them awhile. I even put them through the dishwasher without issue.
Review: Yes you should buy these for your kids - I use these for lunches for my 6 kids (ages 2-10). Initially I bought the version that only has 4 compartments, but it wasn’t big enough so I bought these (although I do still use the other ones, primarily for the little kids). First, can I get on a soapbox? WHY ARE BENTO BOXES SO DARN EXPENSIVE?!! I have too many kids to afford that! Ridiculous! But that’s why you are here, looking at these ones. Yes, this is better than ziploc bagging everything. Yes it’s better than the square sandwich containers. Yes you can put yogurt in the sections (although I’ll admit I Saran Wrap before putting on the lid as a precaution). I find it encourages me to include more vegetables in my kids lunch because there will be one square left and I’ll be like “what do I fill this with?? Grape tomatoes!” Or whatever. The big compartment fits a whole sandwich (cut in half and stacked), a soft taco size wrap, two Hawaiian roll sandwiches, one mini bagel sandwich (although, a little smushed), egg rolls, and a multitude of combinations of cheese and crackers. I’ll sheepishly admit that I’ve continued to hand wash these everyday for fear they warp and no longer hold the yogurt or other liquid item in. I swear I’m not usually this anal. My kids love these and they have lasted everyday use from august to November. I’d call that a win.

Size is nice, fits enough food & fits nicely in a lunch bag. This is the bengo lunch bag, still has some room for snacks. I've use alot of different brand bento kids boxes and these are worth the price. You can prep ahead which is nice for working parents. Will buy a few more of the other sizes
