I bought these to replaced the cones on a couple box speakers my dad has had since the late 70s. They fit perfectly and definitely brought life back into those old soakers of his. They sound rich and have no problem with you cranking up the volume. My biggest critique though is the tweeter doesn’t seem to be that much of a tweeter. You can’t really hear much of the highest frequency, leaving you with a really rich midrange but not so much detail. I get these cones are more oriented towards people who are looking for decibel levels instead of rich full range fidelity, but that’s not to say they are bad cones.
