It is well made & sturdy. It's a great value and has better software. Image is very clear, bright and it rotates immediately with the instrument. Best plus on this one is the ability to switch image between the left & right ear. This software addition avoids the image appearing backwards when you switch ears. The last 2 didn't have this option so when you switched ears the image would move up when you move downward, moving right appears left on screen, etc. I also use it for taking a closer look at skin issues. And very carefully... on my pets ears. Review: Tiny Ears — My Opinion - Not bad. I have tiny ears, tiny canals, and it’s curvy inside. It’s a little difficult for me to see far back at the eardrum because my tiny and curved canals won’t let the tool go inside easily without a little pain. I have to stick the tool really deep inside to see the eardrum, so the metal part gets a little dirty. The longer I pick around back there, the more irritated the skin near the eardrum gets, and it gets a little red. You have to take a break for maybe a few days after finishing. Since I couldn’t clean out every single thing with the tool, I finished with 3% hydrogen peroxide in the ear to dissolve anything I didn’t get. I rechecked the ears afterward with the camera after the peroxide, and it looks clean. I feel like I need an even TINIER camera and handle or something to make it easier for myself though honestly. Regardless, the camera quality is insanely good. The battery life not so much. I’m slow-moving and suck at using the tool and to me the battery runs out fast. Like forty minutes to an hour? I don’t know. Like the product though. High quality. So many tips for the tool, easy to clean, has a CAP to cover the tool, and comes with a cable. You will need to plug the cable into a USB port to charge the tool. So I got this to kind of reassure myself that no matter how much I try to clean them, the reality is just that my hearing is very poor. LOL! Anyways... This tool is pretty good for the money, I got it while it was on sale. The application to required use this device could be a little complicated if you don't understand technology well so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have basic knowledge of how to use WiFi and bluetooth. The camera does have a little bit of a lag to it, but that's okay, it may actually be an issue within the app. It does a pretty good job of scraping the ears without hurting them. The silicone sleeves are easy to put on, and ensure that you don't scratch yourself with the bare metal. The silicone sleeves are somewhat textured and effective at removing earwax. However, be careful, because it does get very hot since there's a bright flashlight at the end, I wouldn't suggest using for longer than 10 or so minutes. The battery does run out kind of fast, but it's worth it. The design of both the tool and the application is good, the tool fits well in the hand and the application does have a "mirroring" effect for right vs left ear. Very useful to ensure you don't have to try and move "backwards."
