Q: What are these coated with? Is the outside coated as well? Are they compostable or recyclable?

i use these all the time...(and after i've eaten my cereal or soup, they become kitty food serving dishes, until the dog gets hold of them and chews them up...then i put them in with my burning trash). i don't THINK they are coated with anything, and i assume they are recyclable if not compostable. the amazon listing should answer that, but you may have to write to the company. i use them to avoid plastic. (and avoid washing dishes!)

The salad bowls lids are plastic, so please don't put the lids into the Microwave oven.
