Needed something high waisted because I have a larger behind area which helps with the fit. I have been wearing these a few times now to work and come home to take them off to see they have done the job well. I went up a size and larger worked best. They do tend to want to slide down a bit but it is easier to pull up and stay up with the larger size under my leggings. I got black because I wear a lot of black leggings. Love the open toe on these as well. I will be purchasing a couple more to switch off and less washing. These are a great price and sturdy. I would definitely recommend...that is coming from someone who has been wearing compression stockings for over 10 years after cervical cancer surgery and ending up developing lymphodema afterwards. Oh and I have a latex allergy and tend to get rashes on my legs. A reaction from getting hot and rubbing. So far so good on that as well.
