I was surprised, great quality, very sharp, cuts beautifully. Now a couple draw backs, these must be oiled, and they do not hold their edge as long as Henkels. I never leave my knives in dish water, I clean them and dry the immediately and put them up. Any moisture left on these knives will cause the black area to rust, nice thing the knife comes with oil. The packaging is beautiful comes in a very nice wooden box. The price point is excellent. I have purchased another one of these knives. Highly recommend.
