When you open the compartment to install the batteries- it says in big letters inside-FOR USE WITH ALKALINE BATTERIES ONLY (LR03) - it also comes with 2 of them. I’ve enclosed foto of that. Don’t replace the batteries with lithium ion batteries or anything but alkaline LR03. For the good stuff-the remotes are awesome.
