Review: Thor - Very nice I call it Thor. Very respectful, I bought it to pound fence post supports in the ground. Worked wonderfully which is respectful of the hammer. If anyone has the need for a powerful hammer for any big project I recommend this one. I have even used it to bust up concrete. Very powerful and compact with a thick rubber handle protector near the head. Fantastic tool I highly recommend it!

I think we're gonna need a bigger arm. This is for the 8 lb. 16 inch hammer. It's basically a one handed 8 pound sledge, I have used it so far for shaping and forging steel. With this much weight it easily does the job, feels very sturdy. I was previously using a 4 pound one hander, this 8 pounder does tire you out pretty quick (well duh) but it does git er dun. I could probably use the exercise anyways and it means I don't spend too much time forging. Love my BFH
