I normally wear a size 8.5 in most brands such as Nike, Puma, Columbia, Bogs, Teva, Coach, and Michael Kors. These boots felt tight on the top of my foot , but not so much that I was willing to size up to a 9....though in hindsight I should have tried both sizes to compare it side by side before committing. After less than a week of wear they seem to be improving, a boot stretcher would probably fix it quicker. Fantastic rubber tread no slip sole and definitely waterproof. Very happy with these well made boots. Time will test its durability so I will try to follow up down the road. *1/21/2026 After a break in period the instep (part that goes over the top of the foot) finally loosened enough that its much more comfortable to wear with any sock now. I intentionally wore them with thick boot/hiking socks for a while to speed up the break in period.
